Thrilled to be named Graphic Design Specialist of the Year
I’m absolutely delighted to share that Corinne Walker Graphic Design has been awarded Graphic Design Specialist of the Year 25/26 at the Prestige Awards! The event took place on Sunday 12th October 2025 at the Village Hotel in Edinburgh, and it was wonderful to attend and receive my Prestige Awards trophy.
For those who don’t know me, I’m a graphic and digital designer based in Aberdeenshire, and I’ve been lucky enough to work with clients across the UK and beyond. I’ve been running Corinne Walker Graphic Design full-time since 2018, and throughout my career I’ve had the privilege to work on projects for some incredible brands including Seven Seas, Discovery Channel, Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels and National Galleries of Scotland.
As a designer, I love taking on a variety of projects — from logo and branding work, print design and signage, to websites and social media graphics. I work across a broad range of industries including hospitality, healthcare, arts and culture, energy, retail, and professional services. I’ve always believed in creating designs that are not only visually engaging but also genuinely effective for my clients.
It was lovely to receive the following feedback from the judges:

Knowing that my hard work has been recognised in some way (which rarely happens as a freelancer) is incredibly rewarding, and I am exceptionally thankful to all my wonderful clients for their testimonials that have helped me secure this win.
Receiving this award has given me a great boost in confidence and motivation to keep pushing myself creatively, and delivering the best work possible for my clients. I hope that this may also encourage other creatives in the industry (who may already be considering this route) to take the leap into the freelance design world. Being a business owner has its ups and downs, pros and cons (and self-employment isn’t for everyone) — but with a little bit of sacrifice, patience, and hard work, it really does all pay off.
